We offer a range of clinical interventions to treat common psychiatric consequences of workplace injury and manage the impact of mental illness on employment. Treatment emphasis is on symptom reduction and functional gain and recovery, including occupational recovery. We work on the premise that returning to work is an important part of the recovery process, not something that occurs after recovery. We achieve our goals by providing education, building on individual strengths and working through the barriers impacting on return to work.
Whether you are seeking to transfer psychiatric care, develop a shared care arrangement or perhaps obtain specialist input to assess work capacity and liaise with insurers/employers, we pride ourselves on high levels of communication and a collaborative approach.
Patients referred need to have an accepted WorkCover or Comcare psychiatric claim.
